Ingredients

- 6 slices of bread (white, whole grain, or sourdough)
- 120 g of fresh goat cheese
- 2 tablespoons of liquid honey
- 1 teaspoon of fresh or dried thyme
- Butter (optional, for toasting)
Instructions
- Spread fresh goat cheese over half of the slices of bread.
- Drizzle honey over the goat cheese and sprinkle with thyme.
- Top with remaining bread, toast on a skillet with butter or in the oven at 200°C for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Cut into quarters and serve warm garnished with fresh thyme.
Notes
Experiment with sliced apples or pears, try different cheeses, or add a pinch of chili flakes for spice.
